About the Shoot

The Prospect Park Boathouse provides a unique opportunity to capture a mix of stunning architecture and natural beauty, making it a dream venue for wedding photography. The Beaux-Arts design, with its grand arched windows, waterfront views, and charming terrace, offers endless inspiration for photos filled with elegance and grace. Natural light pours through the expansive windows, while the serene backdrop of the lake and lush greenery provides the perfect complement to the venue's timeless beauty.

For this styled shoot, we're bringing in a sophisticated color palette of black and white with warm neutrals like peach, coral, and earth-tone greens to elevate the boathouse’s classic lines with a modern touch. Photographers will have the opportunity to capture a unique aesthetic where bold, contemporary hues blend effortlessly with the venue’s historical charm.

Shooting will be split into two distinct time slots, each featuring a different model couple and solo model, ensuring a fresh variety of images for every group. Each time slot will be limited to 10 photographers/videographers, further divided into smaller teams of 2-3 to allow a more intimate and focused shooting experience. Multiple stations will be set up throughout the venue, allowing you to move through curated scenes that highlight both the architecture and our luxurious color palette.

At the end of each segment, there will be a free-for-all shoot time, giving everyone the chance to explore the venue, experiment with angles, and capture that perfect shot. This is a prime opportunity for photographers looking to build their portfolio with elegant, editorial-style images in one of New York's most iconic wedding venues.

Tickets

There are a max of 20 tickets (10 tickets per time slot max) for this shoot. Each ticket is $400. Photographers and Videographers encouraged to join.
